Sharing a not overly large building with the town's museum and other resources, the museum is the repository of as many books as they could make fit into the space available. For the little ones there is even a children's section and reading room, complete with stuffed animals, a desk, a writing table and a rocking chair.
This library deals not only with real books but virtual ones, as well, with a portal to
Online RESOURCES & Research Data, allowing one to search various library databases, including those from the Montana Statewide Resource Library. Of course, they also have internet terminals and Wi-Fi available, not to mention a comprehensive
website.
This is one of three libraries in the Mineral County system, the other branches being in St. Regis and Alberton.
