WOW! That is some SIGN for the local volunteer Fire Brigade of Lang Lang! The Easter Monday Lang Lang Rodeo dates back to 1901, and the CFA authorised the inclusion of elements of both logos to attain this sign.

As the sign says, they were established in 1942. The current building is a wide single-storey mostly brick building, with three 'roll-a-door' bays. They are a very active Unit, with a good training program - per (

visit link) shows where some TWENTY of their members received Service Awards, which totalled 335 years service to the Lang Lang Fire Brigade! Two of which were medals for FIFTY years Service!
There is a tall metal tower on the northern end of the building, which is used to drain the used hoses. Out the back is a small covered BBQ area.
While they 'only' have one Firetruck, they have a beefed-up 4wd ute with a 1000 litre tank for getting into 'tighter corners', and another 4wd used for 'surveillance' and Support in times of need.
