The Seminole Post Office is a buff brick building constructed with Treasury Department funding. In the lobby is one of the many government-funded murals placed in post offices in the late 1930's.
This mural, painted high on the lobby wall is called Seminole Indian Village Scene and was painted in 1939 by well-known artist Acee Blue Eagle. It shows two thatched huts with several natives engaged in daily activities, and two bonfires.
