Das weit in die Tiefe reichende, sechsgeschoßige Haus stammt im Kern aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Es weist eine schmucklose Fassade mit starker Erdbebenmauer, ein Nagelfluhportal und spitzbogig geschlossene Laubenöffnungen auf. Im Inneren haben sich ein tonnengewölbter Flur mit Stichkappen und eine Wendeltreppe erhalten. Die Gasträume wurden 1927/1937 von Franz Baumann umgestaltet.

The far-reaching, six-storey building dates back to the 15th century. It has an unadorned façade with a strong earthquake wall, a Nagelfluh portal and arched closed arbor openings. Inside, a barrel-vaulted corridor with stubs and a spiral staircase have been preserved. The guest rooms were redesigned in 1927/1937 by Franz Baumann.
