EN: The late Gothic town house on Rathausgasse 22 stands out for its window design and the decorated red façade. It is one of the most important of its kind in the city.
The house was probably built around 1600; the dating from 1641 on the second floor of the façade refers to a redesign in which also the early Baroque façade decoration was created. The width and the number of the clearly Gothic windows are decreasing in each floor upwards. The underside of the eaves are decorated with colorful ornaments. Inside, important furnishings from the 17th to the 19th centuries have been preserved. The ground floor today houses a boutique.
DE: Das spätgotische Bürgerhaus an der Rathausgasse 22 fällt durch seine Fenstergestaltung und die geschmückte rote Fassade auf. Es handelt sich um eines der bedeutendsten seiner Art in der Stadt.
Das Haus dürfte um 1600 entstanden sein; die Datierung 1641 am zweiten Stock der Fassade stammt von einer Umgestaltung, bei der auch der frühbarocke Fassadenschmuck entstand. Die Breite und Anzahl der noch eindeutig gotischen Fenster nehmen nach oben in jedem Stockwerk ab. Die Unterseite der Traufen sinnd mit farbigen Ornamenten geschmückt. Auch im Inneren sind bedeutende Einrichtungsgegenstände aus dem 17. bis 19. Jahrhundert erhalten. Das Erdgeschoss beherbergt heute eine Boutique.
