As mentioned, bring a screw driver or other lever, as this is in a round metal lidded box, reminiscent of a 'PM Box', but fortunately on the inside of the lid is a brass plate with TS832 heavily stamped on it. Make sure that you expose the metal pin for your photograph of this less usual Trigonometric Station.
It is not mentioned in the "Guide to the Historic Trigonometrical Stations of Sydney's North", by Tony Dawson, but mainly because it is too much North West of Sydney!
I am positive that I had searched for this trig back in the early 1980's without success, as I didn't want to enter the property facing Castle Hill Road.
Access: You will have to head south down Glenhope Road, Or Coonara Avenue and wind around to Glenridge Avenue and then Staley Circuit, which heads uphill in the direction of Castle Hill Road and the trig. At the top there is a cul-de-sac, with entry to a property. The trig pin is inside the metal lidded box next to the large power pylon.

** This may cause you to get your hands dirty, to show the metal pin inside the box. Gloves might be handy. **
