On the Monte de San Bieito de Cova do Lobo, in San Lourenzo de Piñor, there is a rock that serves as an exceptional viewpoint over the city of Ourense and is highly visited during the pilgrimage of San Bieito de Cova do Lobo. O Tangaraño is a gigantic rock, a typical granite bun many meters in diameter, sitting on top of other rocks, so that you can pass under it crouched. Inside, in a corner, there is a small cavity in the rock that is always full of water. Curative properties are attributed to it, especially for skin diseases: warts, tumors, goiter, wounds and rickets in children (a disease known as tangaraño). Legend Three children have to go through entangled children through the hole in Piedra del Tangaraño. En el Monte de San Bieito de Cova do Lobo, en San Lourenzo de Piñor, hay una roca que sirve como excepcional mirador sobre la ciudad de Ourense y es muy visitado durante la romería de San Bieito de Cova do Lobo. O Tangaraño es una gigantesca roca, un típico bollo granítico de muchos metros de diámetro asentado encima de otras peñas, de manera que se puede pasar por debajo de él agachado. Leyenda A los niños entangarañados tienen que pasarlos tres mujeres por el agujero de la Piedra del Tangaraño. Le quitan la ropa vieja al niño y lo pasan de fuera a dentro de la de la roca por encima del charco de agua. Luego visten al niño con ropa nueva, abandonando allí las que llevaba puestas, haciendo tiras con la ropa vieja y dejándola atada en las ramas de camino al templo. El nombre de San Bieito de Cova do Lobo viene de la creencia de que el mismo San Bieito andaba huyendo por aquellos montes y se escondió en una cueva del lobo
