The ATSF 1862R caboose is a standard cupola-styled vehicle standing at the northwest corner of the M-K-T depot on Houser Street.
The caboose was built by the American Car and Foundry Company in 1929. It was dedicated April 14, 1998 and placed here at the depot which housed a museum.
The caboose has the original markings and has not been repainted. It is on display but cannot be entered.
