Der Bahnhof der Mittenwaldbahn wurde 1964 für die Olympischen Spiele 1964 neu gebaut und weist ein markantes Pultdach sowie in der Halle ein den Skisport thematisierendes Wandbild von Ernst Schroffenegger auf.
Als wir im September 2017 dort waren, wurde die Station modernisiert.

The station of the Mittenwaldbahn was rebuilt in 1964 for the Olympic Games and features an imposing steep roof and, on the east wall, a mural by Ernst Schroffenegger which symbolizes skiing.
When we were there in September 2017, the station was being modernized.
