This school and gymnasium is located on the property of the Ringling Church of Christ. It is currently used as their Clothes Closet ministry. The town of Ringling is associated with the Ringling Brothers from circus fame.
The two-room classroom building is one story with a flat roof and is constructed of native sandstone. A different type of darker stone is used on the bottom four feet of the walls, with a lighter stone above that. The centered entrance to the school has a slightly projected rock surround with a concrete recessed area with one door. The ribbon windows which flank the entrance are covered with a metal siding.
To the rear (south) of the classroom building is a gymnasium with a barrel roof, also constructed in the two-toned rock. These windows are also covered with a washboard type metal siding.
Documentation of this property can be found on the website shown below of the Oklahoma State Preservation Report, on Page 56, Item 4 under Region 7, Jefferson County.
