Roundup Cemetery is in Musselshell County, Montana. Roundup is the county seat of Musselshell County with a population of approximately 1,840 residents. The county's name comes from the Musselshell River that Lewis & Clark traveled. For that western flair, Roundup holds an annual Roundup Cattle Drive with thousands of long horn cattle parading down Main Street.
Roundup Cemetery is approximately 13 acres in size, mostly gently rolling hills with most of the cemetery wide open prairie. On the east section, large trees line the roadways providing access to designated sections. Most of the grave markers are flush with a few small upright granite stones.
There are approximately 1,962 known interments, with the first known:
George Anderson birth unknown and passes away December 25, 1911.
