Tiger Historical Center & Museum is also a Visitor Information Center, Gift Shop and Rest Area. It is noteworthy to note that this is the very last of what remains of Tiger. Only the ghosts and tourists frequent this location. It is somewhat out of the way, however this is a must stop if you are in the area.

The Cider Press is beautifully restored and was a common item used on local farms in the early 1900's, as they are even today. This cider press has a large hand operated wheel which turns large gears exerting press to extract the juice. This model has two receptacles on the stand, which became the most common style after the turn of the century. Stamped on the handle is JM 18, which was not able to find any information with this reference. Apples were considered a staple in the area and the juice was consumed and/or sold. The apple juice was also converted into vinegar and apple butter.
