The coordinates listed on this page were taken just outside of the visitor center. To view the castle, you must travel five miles up the hill from the visitor center. You can only do this if you take a tour. Current tour prices are $20 for adults and $10 for children. Tickets may be purchased online at www.hearstcastle.com or in the visitor center.
The entrance road to the visitor center and parking lot (which are both free) can be found at N 35° 38.651 W 121° 11.128 - on Highway 1.
