Magic Cup is a regional Texas chain that started in Houston, providing fresh-brewed tea and coffee drinks, boba teas, and fresh-baked pastries.

Magic Cup started in Houston, and the owners hope to spread the concept to other locations in other Texas cities soon. The Houston location also serves Asian fusion food, but the Richardson (Dallas) location does not.

We had heard about Magic Cup From a friend of ours, but we never had come over to try it until our previous boba tea place in Cali Saigon Mall closed. Magic cup is just up the street in the Block24 development, so it is very convenient for us. The menu and variety of flavors was just right - all our faves, but not so many that you can't choose. There is something here for everyone: straight coffee folks, creamy Asian bobas, and the mad experimenters - everyone can find something to their liking at Magic Cup. They have the full pallette of bobas and jellies to go into your drinks, including popping boba in several flavors, traditional black boba and diced flavoured jellies. My older daughter got a hazelnut mocha boba with coffee jellies, and really enjoyed it. She liked it so much that this may give the lychee boba a run for its supremacy! My younger daughter and I got the coconut taro boba -- we live the taro anyway, but with coconut we are converted! Wow it was just awesome, and our new crave! Ratings:
