Pfarrhaus zu St. Theodor - Basel, Switzerland - Austrian and Swiss National Heritage Sites on Waymarking.com

EN: The rectory to St. Theodor is located on Rebgasse. There is not much to learn about the house except that there are apparently two rectory houses in the same street. This one is rather inconspicuous, the windows on the left side have a Gothic shape. In the listing of the State Archives the date of origin is stated as 1833, but that can not apply to the building for reasons of style, probably the much older house was then taken over by the church.

DE: Das Pfarrhaus zu St. Theodor befindet sich an der Rebgasse. Über das Haus ist nicht viel in Erfahrung zu bringen, ausser dass es offenbar zwei Pfarrhäuser in der selben Strasse gibt. Dieses ist eher unscheinbar, die Fenster an der linken Seite haben eine gotische Form. Im Listing des Staatsarchivs steht als Entstehungszeit 1833, dass kann aber aus stilstischen Gründen nicht für das Gebäude gelten, vermutlich wurde dass ältere Haus damals von der Kirche übernommen.
