Carnbee is a tiny village in the East Neuk of Fife, some three miles to the north of the coastal towns of St Monans, Pittenweem and Anstruther. Its church was built in 1793 on the site of a earlier medieval Roman Catholic church.
Designed by Andrew Horsburgh and built by David Ness, the rectangular sandstone building is aligned west to east and sits high above the sloping ground to the south. The bell tower, with bell still inside, is the main feature of the building and sits on the apex of the west gable, taking the form of a spirelet.
