THE STATION IS LOCATED ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF A ROAD THAT HAS AT ONE TIME BEEN U.S. HIGHWAY 2. IT IS ABOUT 2-1/2 MILES AIRLINE SOUTHWEST OF DAVENPORT, ABOUT 18 MILES AIRLINE EAST-SOUTHEAST OF CRESTON, AND ABOUT 8 MILES AIRLINE NORTH-NORTHWEST OF BLUESTEM.
THE STATION IS 28 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, 88 FEET WEST OF THE WEST TREE OF A GROUP OF EVERGREENS, 4 FEET NORTH OF A FENCE, AND 9 FEET EAST OF A TRIANGULAR BLAZED TELEPHONE POLE. IT IS A STANDARD DISK SET IN THE TOP OF A 10-INCH SQUARE CONCRETE POST THAT PROJECTS 2 INCHES ABOVE THE GROUND. THE DISK IS STAMPED--QUAKER 1950.
REFERENCE MARK NUMBER ONE IS 30 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, 26 FEET WEST-SOUTHWEST OF A TELEPHONE POLE, AND 6 INCHES NORTH OF A WIRE FENCE. IT IS A STANDARD DISK SET IN THE TOP OF A 10-INCH SQUARE CONCRETE POST THAT PROJECTS 3 INCHES ABOVE THE GROUND. THE DISK IS STAMPED--QUAKER NO 1 1950.
REFERENCE MARK NUMBER TWO IS 24 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, 2-1/2 FEET WEST OF A TELEPHONE POLE, AND 2 FEET SOUTH OF A WIRE FENCE. IT IS A STANDARD DISK SET IN THE TOP OF A 10-INCH SQUARE CONCRETE POST THAT PROJECTS 3 INCHES ABOVE THE GROUND. THE DISK IS STAMPED--QUAKER NO 2 1950.
