The Exeter Friends Meeting House sits in the very picturesque Oley Valley in Berks County, PA. Daniel Boone, who was born nearby and lived in Berks County till he was 16, and his family were members of this meeting house. In fact, his uncle George Boone, donated the land that the stone structure sits on today. Other notable members were the ancestors of Abraham Lincoln whose home still stands on Lincoln Road in Reading.
