Quick Description: This two sided marker is located in the I-80 westbound rest stop at about mile 300. There's an identical marker in the nearby eastbound rest area.

Long Description:
The east side of the marker tells the history of the settlement and delopement of Davenport.

The West side traces the history of the nearby bridges across the Mississippi which preceeded the present I-80 bridge.
