Frisches Brünnchen "Nonnepütz" - Rheinbach, Germany - Natural Springs on Waymarking.com

Das "Frische Brünnchen", auch "Nonnepütz" genannt, ist eine natürliche Quelle im Rheinbacher Wald. Die Quelle wurde mit einem Gebilde aus Natursteinen überbaut, das auf einer Seite offen ist. Das an die Oberfläche tretende Wasser der Quelle läuft unterhalb dieser Öffnung durch ein kleines Rohr in einen Graben und schließlich in den nahegelegenen Schlebach.

An der Quelle wurden neben einem Hinweisschild auch zwei Sitzgruppen mit Bänken für Besucher und Wanderer aufgestellt. Dazu wurden zwei alte Mühlsteine zu Picknicktischen umgebaut.

Erreichbar ist der Brunnen nur zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad. An der Landstraße L113 zwischen Rheinbach und Merzbach gibt es einen Wanderparkplatz, von dem aus ein Wanderweg zu der Quelle führt.

"Frisches Brünnchen", also called "Nonnepütz", is a natural spring in the forst of Rheinbach. The spring was overgrown with a natural stone structure open on one side. The surface water of the spring runs below this opening through a small pipe into a ditch and finally into the nearby creek Schlebach.

At the spring next to a sign two seat groups with benches for visitors and hikers were set up. Two old millstones were converted into picnic tables.

The fountain can only be reached on foot or by bicycle. On the road L113 between Rheinbach and Merzbach there is a hiking parking lot, from which a trail leads to the source.
