The Canmore Cemetery has approximately 1,416 known interments with a mixture of flush and small upright grave markers. There is a veterans section with a tall black memorial. There is another war memorial near the entrance. Both are etched with soldiers.
There are large shade trees and the cemetery is completely fenced. The sign is attached to the fence at the entrance. The cemetery sets back about 250 metres from the entrance.
