[DE] "Das 1901 gegründete Diözesanmuseum in der Brixner Hofburg gehört zu den bedeutendsten kirchlichen Museen im Alpenraum. Es beherbergt mehrere Sammlungsbestände, wobei der Domschatz von Brixen mit der bekannten Adlerkasel an erster Stelle zu nennen ist. Von großer kunsthistorischer Bedeutung ist die umfangreiche Sammlung mittelalterlicher Skulpturen und Tafelbilder. Auch aus der Zeit der Renaissance befinden sich im Museum künstlerisch herausragende Werke.
