Montrose Golf Links covers approximately 250 acres of rough grassland, gorse and heather on its two golf courses between the sand dunes and the town. This sign next to the Professional's Shop gives information on what can be found in the area.
Among the species described and pictured are the following birds: Kestrel, Linnet, Oystercatcher and Skylark. Also the Common Lizard, Cinnabal Moth and Common Blue Butterfly, along with foxes. The flora consists of: Harebell and White Campion.
The sign can be found on the south side of Traill Drive just west of the Pros Shop near the car park.
