To the right of the LARGE wooden panels for the 600+ soldiers commemorated in serving in The Great War is a similar maple panel with two columns of soldiers who died in service in World War Two. The panel was made by Freeman, Wauchope, with the x 119 gilt-painted names added by Mr Rex Hart. The Virtual War Memorial website mentions that there was initially panels that listed all soldiers who served in WW2, but they were later removed. There may have been an open register in the centre with military information for soldiers, but I didn't see it in 2018.
