Their website tells us who they are:

Roasters opened in 1992 with the purpose of bringing freshly roasted coffee to Amarillo, TX. Serving our loyal customers with great coffee and excellent beverages is our goal. Over the years we have gone from a single store to multiple locations. Our stores are conveniently located throughout Amarillo with drive-up service.

If you are local or passing through the area, join us. We’ve been serving coffee in Amarillo for many years and look forward to many more. Our goal at Roasters is to make people smile one cup at a time.

So when you're around our area, join us. We've been in Amarillo for many years and can't wait for the many years ahead. The roasters life is a good life.

This is one of four Roasters locations, all in Amarillo, and their morning crowds easily rival those of the Green Mermaid, who have a considerable presence across the city. If you're a local, be prepared for lines. If you're traveling, go have breakfast somewhere and maybe, just maybe, traffic will be lighter when you arrive. Be careful to not park where the line around the drive thru can keep you in.

Their menu is available on their website, but do check the board behind the counter (and their Facebook page) to see if they're doing anything different, and there's a board near the register to tell you about the coffee of the day. They can do practically everything the local chain does, and more, and if you're getting something with chocolate, they're using Ghirardelli. In addition to the coffee menu, they offer green, black, red, and herbal tea, as well as lighter fare such as orange juice, cider, Italian soda, and steamers. Service is outstanding -- they'll offer very good suggestions upon request -- and during non-peak hours, they'll have you out the door quickly. Be sure to feed that tip jar up front. If you'd like to brew some at home, they offer their coffee by the pound, and you can even order it through their website.

The wi-fi is free and secure, with the password available at the counter, and the signal strength is pretty good. While there is a good amount of seating in this converted restaurant, as well as a few places outside, be aware that it can be busy during peak hours. If you're looking for a place to plug in your gadgets, your best bet is along the wall by one of those tables you see in front of you as you enter.

They are open Monday through Saturday from 6 AM to 9 PM, and on Sunday from 7 AM to 9 PM.
