EN: The house zum Rübenloch is a late Gothic residential building in the old town of Murten. The name probably comes from the fact that beets were once stored in his cellar.
The house dates from the 16th century. It has a round-arched cellar door under the exterior staircase and unusual window shapes with flat pointed arches. The attic in typical Bernese style comes from a later construction phase in 1672.
DE: Das Haus zum Rübenloch ist ein spätgotisches Wohnhaus in der Altstadt von Murten. Der Name stammt vermutlich daher, dass in seinem Keller einst Rüben gelagert wurden.
Das Haus stammt aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Es hat eine rundbogige Kellertür unter der Aussentreppe und aussergewöhnlichen Fensterformen mit flachen Spitzbogen. Das Dachgeschoss in typischem Bernerstil stammt aus einer späteren Bauphase im Jahr 1672.
FR: La maison zum Rübenloch est un immeuble résidentiel de style gothique tardif situé dans la vieille ville de Morat. Le nom vient probablement du fait que les betteraves étaient autrefois stockées dans sa cave.
La maison date du 16ème siècle. Il a une porte de cave arrondie sous l'escalier extérieur et des formes de fenêtres inhabituelles avec des arcs en ogive. Le grenier du style typiquement bernois provient d'une phase de construction ultérieure en 1672.
