The Bracklinn Falls are situated north of the town of Callander on a wooded hillside where the Keltie Water falls down through a deep gorge. The Bracklinn Falls Circuit walk crossed the gorge by an iron bridge which was washed away by flash floods in 2004. This replacement was constructed in 2010.
It is constructed of locally sourced larch and four Douglas fir tree trunks, each 12 metres long. The bridge was constructed over six months with the 20 tonnes winched by hand across the falls.
The bridge won an award in the International Footbridge Awards in 2011. It provides the best view of the falls and links the paths on both banks of the gorge.
The trail is mostly on earthen and packed dirt, with an asphalt section from the car park towards the bridge.
