This 'semi-circular' marble and granite memorial is for all who sacrificed.

The semi-circular monument is set very near the Settlers and Founders tall monument in the plaza to the side of the esplanade. Parts are highly polished black marble, while other parts appear to be of granite, or possibly just roughened unpolished stone like the rest. The western semi-circular face has the following:

In Memory of all Men and Women
who made the Supreme Sacrifice
in all Conflicts

On the eastern side is the following polished inscription:

At the Going down of the Sun
[Australian Imperial Forces insignia]
