Standing and facing the Gulf of Mexico is a Cigar Store Indian. Bolted to the floor this chap known affectionly as "Chief" has withstood numerous tropical storms and hurricanes. Hurricane Irma in 2017 and most recently Hurricane Michael in 2018
He's in need of a new paint job due to the fading he is experiencing from facing the setting sun and he needs a new pinky finger.
He is located on Sanibel Captiva Road just before the Blind Pass bridge to Captiva Island.
