Sri Shiva Vishnu Temple - Collegeville, PA - Hindu Temples on Waymarking.com

When I recently noticed the Hindu Temple Waymarking category, I checked out several of the more recent entries and marveled at the lovely architecture. So, inspired, I looked for a Hindu temple near me and found one about 25 miles away. I hopped in my car and drove to the listed address, expecting to see a temple of beauty, but, it was not to be. I did find a temple but it was in a re-purposed building and lacked the other worldliness that the other temples had, but, it is a terrific attempt at a group of people to provide themselves a place to practice their religion. The temple is not yet quite two years old and will hopefully be just the beginning of a worship center for local people of the Hindu faith.

Per the temple's website, Hinduism is a simple lifestyle - "read scriptures, do your Spiritual duties, do yoga, meditation, learn arts, music, dance, respect elders, and while leading a life of social harmony and respect for basic human dignity." (visit link)
