The utility box was decorated in 2016 by Matt Hollister & Sasha Barr in conjunction with the Urban ArtWorks Project in which local businesses and illustrators collaborated on ideas and design of each box in the South Lake Union section of Seattle.
The front of this utility box has a blue-green background on which is painted a purple grid. Within each element of the grid is a unique symbol such as a cube, globe, arrow, hexagon et al. A series of white diagonal lines forms a grid that connects the symbols.
The west side has a blue-green background with matrix of circles with diagonal white and purple lines connecting the circles. The east side has a red background with a series of dots and dashed, and symbols superimposed by a grid of squares. The back is close to a brick building and is simply painted red.
