Near the Lyman Conservatory, in the middle of the Systematics Garden is the Massachusetts champion Ginkgo biloba, a.k.a. Maidenhair, tree. The tree was last measured on 2/23/2016 and was 82.5' high, has a girth of 200.5 inches (16.7 feet), and a crown spread of 68.6 feet. Based on the scoring system used to rate trees is was awarded 300 points.
