In Johnston, along Rhode Island Route 14, is Salisbury Farm, with animal pens where you can feed the goats.
The farm is located about 2 miles west of the intersection of Route 14 with I-295. The parking lot is on the north side of the road - there is a sign at the road. The parking lot is right there.
The animal pens are just beyond the barn where farm products are being sold. Right by the pens is a dispenser that has feed in it. A quarter is needed, and you need to turn a crank to get the food.
The goats appreciated the feed they received!
In addition to the farm stand, the farm offers other activities such as seasonal berry and pumpkin picking, hayrides, and a corn maze.
