This is a plough that the farmer would have walked with, behind his team of horses. In between Tinonee and Wingham are some large flat areas of alluvial soil that market farmers had used for quite a while, but now that they aren't big enough to be profitable, they are being turned into hobby farms.
Two sharp-pointed tines are fixed to the rusty iron frame, with two off-set iron wheels, and a pair of thin steel handles at the rear allow the farmer some control of direction and depth.
