In Walpole, along School Street, is the Walpole Town Hall.
The building is located on the north side of the road, about a quarter mile west of the intersection with East Street.
The building is a large rectangular structure, multiple stories, with a peaked roof. Near the center of the roof is a cupola with a weathervane in the shape of a schooner.
The community of Walpole is a town government typical of New England towns, with an elected Board of Selectmen.
