This fired brick building was constructed between 1909 and 1915 and served several purposes before and after being a post office. It began life as a grocery store and print shop. The newspaper, The Arizona Miner occupied the building in 1940 and it currently is part of a laundry. Records indicate that the windows and doors are original features of the building. To the left is a building composed of cinder block which is part of the laundry/dry cleaners. Apparently part of the wall has been removed to facilitate the current business although this has not damaged the integrity of the building.
